|The further adventures of Esther de Groot. It\'s a thank you to the Scary Go Round readers who stuck with Bad Machinery, but also something you can read without ever having read my old comics. I\'ve worked hard on it and I hope that you enjoy it.
|Originally planned to be a short goofy comic that I could put up while working on other stuff, it has since ballooned in length into a long goofy comic that has taken time away from working on other stuff. There\'s a lesson there somewhere.UPDATES ON THURSDAYS!
|Comic: Meaty Yogurt|
|Jackie Monroe’s town is cursed. Anyone born there will die there, and all the time in between is riddled with nothing but calm mediocrity. Jackie is determined to beat the curse and make something of herself, or as she puts it, “Live a life someone would want to read a book about.”
But Jackie’s impatience and easily distracted nature make it hard for her to get anywhere. One week she’s going to be an astronaut, one week she’s going to be a rock star, one week she’s going to be a politician. She’s been in college for ten years now, still with no clue what she wants to do. The story mostly focuses on her attempts to accomplish her crazy goals.
Her friends humor her. Saffron, her roommate, studied fashion design, but at 22, she’s already resigned to being a waitress for the rest of her life. Jackie’s boyfriend Tom is a librarian who is waiting for the day Jackie settles down and starts a family with him. Jackie’s family consists entirely of office workers.
And then there’s Moira, Saffron’ girlfriend. Moira was born far away and at 26, she’s already lived ten times as much as Jackie, and doesn’t have the curse to contend with. She’s well on her way to becoming a rock legend, and Jackie is insanely jealous.
While Jackie spends her time trying to find some way to be awesome, she fails to notice all the interesting details around her, including some rather disturbing events that might actually make her special.
The tone of the story alternates between funny slice-of-life and mind-fuck.

|Comic: One of Those Days|
|Everyday is a different type of day for Malori. From getting hit in the face day to ICBM day she never knows what to expect! What will today bring?
|So what is Pepperwood? It is, in essence, the story of a guy (Eamonn) and a girl (Cherry). It has a lot of musical ideas, a lot of dialogue, and a lot of that emotional crap we pretend to hate now. But we don’t. We eat that shit up.
Some familiar Aikida characters were born in Pepperwood, including Tito and Pepper (though she was named Naumie). The hook for me, though, has always been Cherry. I love drawing her, and love her character. Flawed, but unapologetic. Sexy, but not an amazon.

|Comic: The Cobra Days|
|The members of The Cobra Unit are from the Metal Gear Solid series, appearing in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, for the Playstation 2 system (virtually the same game, but Subsistence comes with special features ^.^). However, \"The Cobra Days\" focuses on the PAST of the Cobra Unit, back during World War 2 when the unit was established. These characters didn\'t get a whole lot of depth in the game, so...yeah, I felt like giving them backstories. XD
