Comic: Widdershins 5/5
A very nice webcomic, I greatly enjoyed it. So on to reviewing it: The art is very good, and quite pleasing to the eyes, definitely some of the better I\'ve seen. The plot/story is interesting, basically being a collection of short stories, with different characters for each (though some come back for another of the short stories) all connected by an overarching plot, and the this one family, as every arc has had a character from that family. Each mini story is riveting and page turning. Setting is awesome the author has very good world building, using an awesome combination of history and fantasy, being in an alternate 1830s England in which there was magic. It has a very unique take on magic that I\'ve never seen before, very different than \'magic\' in most fantasy in the way it works and is used; it\'s one of my favorite things about it. The characters are very likeable, and all have very unique personalities, both the villains and protagonists. Humor is silly sometimes, cynical and snarky others times, providing a very good mix. I definitley enjoyed reading it (and then promptly rereading it), and I definitely recommend it! The only bad thing so far is that the author started only updating 2 times a week starting the week I read it. ;c Still very good, though, and has my highest praise!
Comic: Digger 4/5
A very good comic, and a completed one at that, and, though I do believe it wasn\'t at a point, it is now completely free to read. I haven\'t seen many completed ones. The art is this amazing, black and white print-making style I\'ve never seen before, and is very nice, also, after the first chapter, it improves from it\'s already good art. The story\'s plot is interesting and keeps you wondering, and keeps you reading, as the main characters looks for answers, and, ultimately, a way home. The main character is very down to earth and cute, the humor is good in an odd way (vampire squash, like what the heck? XD ) and the supporting characters make things interesting. World-building is very good. Genre fantasy/fable/lore. Very good read, I recommend it. 4 stars only because the only thing I feel could be better is characterization.
Comic: Tales of The Questor 4/5
A very good webcomic, one of my favorites, for a few reasons: The main character is very relatable, and you can\'t help but root for him in the ups and downs of his questoring career. The world-building is very good, while still being easy to comprehend. The art is okay, the plots are thrilling, and the humor is wonderful. The author gets a little political/religious but even if you disagree with his views it is still very enjoyable. The only reasons why I\'m giving it 4 stars is the author rarely updates since when I started reading, (3 years ago) though I\'ve heard it used to happen often enough, maybe this will change with time. Otherwise, very good read, definitely worth it, and STILL one of my favorites after all this time.
Comic: A Redtail's Dream 5/5
It is a complete webcomic, having ended after 556 pages, and is one of the few complete ones I\'ve read. Now on to why I liked it: The art is gorgeous, easily the best art in any webcomic I\'ve read, even better than Digger\'s, and is just eye candy. The plot is simple yet entertaining, and basically is summed up as this: a spirit fox had cosmic mishap, teleporting the main characters\' town into the spirit/dream realm, and they have to fix his mistake, though they don\'t do it willingly. The main characters, a boy and his dog, have very nice characterization, and you can\'t help but liking them. Humor is snarky, cynical, and very good. The story had very nice conclusion that leaves one quite satisfied (didn\'t stop me from rereading it though, but hey, if I reread, it means I liked it a lot). Definitely a great read, and worth the time, and has my recommendations!
Comic: Modest Medusa 4/5
I would rate a 4.5 but that\'s not an option. Anyway though, on to the review: It\'s simple yet nice looking artwork(like the webcomic Freefall) makes it pleasing to read. The plot is interesting and never failed to surprise me, being random and funny. The characters and their relationships are very cute. The humor is consistent throughout. Updates 3 times a week, so it moves a long pretty well. All in all, a great read, well worth the time and the best webcomic I read this week (and I read like 7 \'cause I was on break) which means it\'s good in my book. I definitely recommend it.
