Comic Synopses
Below is a list of synopses created by Von Allan that are currently in use.

Comic: Brawl!
"Brawl!" is a short story featuring Marie, the main character from "the road to god knows..." as a little girl. This is a whimsical story that features Marie dreaming about fighting a super villain.
Comic: Fast Friends: a "road to god knows..." adventure!
Fast Friends features Marie and Kelly, the main characters from the graphic novel (and webcomic!) "the road to god knows...," as little kids.
Comic: The Old Crow
"The Old Crow" is a completed short story that features Marie, the main character from "the road to god knows..." as a little girl. It's ten pages in length and serves as a thematic background piece to "road."
Comic: the road to god knows...
\"The road to god knows...\" is the story of Marie, a teenage girl coming to grips with her Mom\'s schizophrenia. As a result, she\'s struggling to grow up fast; wrestling with poverty, loneliness, and her Mom\'s mental illness every step of the way.

Betty, Marie\'s Mom, can\'t help; she\'s living with an illness that\'s slowly getting worse and increasingly frightening, and she just doesn\'t have the resources left over at the end of the day to help Marie. With her Mom absorbed in her own problems, Marie is essentially alone while she learns to deal with the chaos in her young life.

Marie\'s youth makes it that much harder for her to cope - as a teenager, she doesn\'t have the life experience to feel confident about her decisions. At the start of the story, we see a scared young girl, uncertain and overwhelmed, but as Betty collapses into a full nervous breakdown, Marie is forced to examine both herself and her life and then come to a decision: does she continue to be a child, reacting to what\'s happening around her? Or does she take control of her life, come what may?

Please note that the story was collected into a 148 page graphic novel in October 2009 and is available for sale pretty much everywhere. The link to purchase the book on Amazon.com is http://www.amazon.com/dp/0978123700
