Update: actually pretty good on the second read, still some flaws on this, will comment more when I have the time.

Also, here\'s to hoping that the third volume and beyond will truly be fantastic.
Regarding the novel series: my impressions so far is that it\'s definitely better than the comics I\'ve been reading thanks to an engaging background to the world of DreamKeepers and the pretty interesting characters in the story, but so far it seems like I\'m encountering cliches: escape vents, fan service, close calls where characters discover hidden powers near the point of death (twice!). It seems overall it\'s overhyped and pretty lame, but maybe I\'ll read it again (since I\'ve only read it once) in hopes that I find something i\'ve missed.
