It's an alright comic, it has it's moments. Definitely found the niche it belongs in. Not the best thing ever though, there are other webcomics out there that are a better match for some people. Open minds, people, open minds. Can't give it a 5 though, parts of the archive were a bit mind-numbing

Sometimes, if people did not laugh at obvious jokes or were obsessed with the curves of pencils and pen, then sometimes this comic would always be top ten.
It's good, this shit, it's good. |

Definitely one of the better ones.

Achewood is such as amazing! I have to say this is now one of my favorite webcomics. Just something about the absurdity, and the characters are great.

Achewood is an acquired taste to be sure, but once you get into it, there's no looking back. A richer and more diverse cast of layered characters than any ten strips, just the right mix of surrealism and tangibility, and writing that doesn't assume you were raised on "Garfield." Achewood is the reason web comics exist: This shit wouldn't wash in the mainstream. The only beef is that n00bs really have to read it from the begining to appreciate it...And that's a hella huge archive to have to digest. Totally worth it, though. Great stuff here.

if anyone can tell me of a comic that is 1/10 as good as Achewood I will be overjoyed. I also read dieselsweeties and although I read something positive, it rarely makes me laugh. Too many words are bad - they water down the funny - any suggestions that aren't terrible are greatly appreciated.

I don't need to tell you this comic is great, but I will anyway. Achewood is great. Read it.

I'm surprised this isn't in the top 10.

achewood is probably my favorite comic. i never thought a comic could possibly surpass Dieselsweeties or Wigu, but the world is a vast and confusing place.

One of my two favorite webcomics -- the other being Scary Go Round. It's all about the writing, baby. You have to wander around in the world for a while, but once you get to know the characters, it's hella funny.

Mentioning the utter webshite that is 8-bit theatre on a profile for the sublime and glorious achewood just proves that your opinion is as worthless as the rest of your miserable existance.

I do not like this comic, the only comic I like is 8-bit theatre. Incidentally, I love fighting and long walks on the beach. Also, long fights on the beach.
