Cuatro and the Zylonian knights.

Synopsis:
An act of unspeakable terrorisom rages throughout the planet of Zylon, spreading rapidly like a deadly virus. Two races are at war, a war to preserve and a war to destroy. Two major races fight desperately to determine the fate of the planet. The minotaurs of the Tauren Empire have the upper hand over the innocent gryphon race who give their flesh and blood to protect their planet. The minotaurs have the upper hand, but not for long as science and magic come together to create Zylons greatest hero.

| Hello, I'm the author of Cuatro and the Zylonian Knights and I'm putting in a comment about my work because I didn't have room to insert this in the synopsis. When I started this series back in 1988 it did not occur to me that what I wrote, is very indicative to what happened years ago during Hitlers regime. The war between the minotaurs and the gryphons resembles that of Hitler and his actions against the Jewish people of Europe. A few years ago, my mother told me about a story, about my Grandmother, who lives in Florence, Italy, and the time when she was a little girl. She grew up around the time of the holocost, and remembers her parents assisting the jewish people, in efforts to hide them from the Nazis. I think after hearing this story, it has inspired me to write something that would kind of relate to what happened to my grandmother years ago, but provide a fictional escape to what was once a very brutal time in history. The main villain of my story, Cyrus Oxbane, is a true reflection of Adolph Hitler with his drive to take over the planet of Zylon, and eradicate anything or anyone who comes in his way. Sort of what Hitler was famous for. Again, I did not realize where exactly did I come up with such a plot, until this story was told to me by my mother. So, I suppose the reason for Cuatro and the Zylonian Knights is simple. In times of great adversity, everyone needs to believe that somewhere along the line, is a day to look forward to. All it takes is a brave stand against adversity and someone to lead the way toward freedom. |
