I really loved Marilith, and I am not someone who usually enjoys violent content. The story and characters were engaging, and despite her behaviour, I found myself coming to actually like Marilith.

The artwork in the first series was nothing to write home about, but as the series progressed, both the art and writing continued to improve. I love to re-read Marilith every so often so I can re-discover how much I liked it the first time around.

This comic is not art. This comic is a shoot-em-up party.

That's not completely true. The characters do have some meat to them, there is an interesting backstory (I am particularly interested in the blond guy who is apparently in love with Marilith). And I love the relationship between Marilith and her captive. However, I like this comic mainly because it appeals to my tastes - and those tastes are not universal.

"Blood opera" is a good description of this comic. It has smart women with guns, action, angst, and a few witty repartees for good measure. And there are no obvious good-guys bad-guys - everybody is either a hero or villain according to point of view. If this sounds like something you can dig, check it out. If not ... well, it's your call.

Nice, this isn't all black'n'white good/badguy stuff. You don't get to see that much in comics, so it's a big plus. Nice art too.

It's early but this could be good. It reminds me of Gunsmith Cats, which was one of my favorite mangas.

Hello, Krazy Krow here. Just giving you a heads up that I'm changing the name of the comic to "Marilith," look for that on Friday.

This whole reads a little like that Stallone/Banderas movie.

Huge fan I loved the story and the art!
