Alright, we get it. Garfield's fat, Odie's stupid, and Jon can't get a date. This comic has lost all originality.

This comic was great, but then Jim Davis stopped writing it. Since syndicated writers have taken over, the quality of the jokes and humor has much declined, to a point where it's almost the same joke everday.
I agree, Jim Davies was Awesome |

My first ever comic read. I was instantly addicted. This comic transcends everything, save Peanuts. You just gotta love this comic, or you're not human.

I love Garfield. He is so funny. I like it when he kicks Odie off the table and goes fishing with Nermal. Of course Nermal is the bait. Tee hee hee

Up to about the 10th or 11th book, this was usualy comedy gold. Then Jim stopped writing it...

Garfield used to be MY cartoon... I still have like 15 books of him...
Now it's kinda... okay, I guess. I guess there's only so many jokes you can make about a fat cat. |

incredibly formulaic, rarely funny, alternates between three or so jokes.

Unfortunately Garfield has only scored one or two laughs out of me in the last month. Odie is funnier than Garfield. He should go and get his own strip :p

Garfield is a great comic. I still love him :).

Garfield is basically repeating one or two jokes for years and yeard. I'm surprised how Davis didn't bore himself to death already. Or maybe he did.
