I\'m rectifying my old comment. This comic is horrendous - it teases the reader with small bits of plot development and then proceeds to give 40+ pages of confusing action sequences, lesbian fanservice and zoophilia

Thanks again for the interview, Danny and Donnie! You guys RULE! Keep up the awesome work :)

Easy to follow, great character developement, and if all you one star voters would overlook the anthro aspect, you would a very welldone webcomic. As a final note, I wish there was a six-star rating, because this would earn it.

nice! loved the big fight =D

It's a nice comic though I really can't agree much on the balance of genders but it's okay.

Words from the creators:

We'll definitely deliver sexy violence

Our dragon and tiger girls have big offensive breasts!

Hooray for boobies!!

Now I'm not saying that this comic is all about gawking at Dragon and Tiger titties, I was just poking fun at the comic (and the people who think this is just "lesbian furry softcore"). It's actually a well thought-out comic with an complex story that isn't difficult to follow. And, if you weren't too busy fogging up your glasses in the bath scene, you'd notice that it was put there for a reason.

The first story arc is reaching its climax, and I can hardly wait two weeks to find out what happens next. It seems so unfair.

Smoke this comic, it's premium dope.

Wow, Falken takes a lot of words to simply say, "I don't like this comic because I'm pretentious."

First off, the writer has NEVER made the claim that He is "so origional." He is simply tellign the story the best way he can, and IMNSHO, He's doing a fine job of it. The writer doesn't have to "prove" anything, all he has to do is write. if you don't like his style, then don't read, simple as that.

Question: How exactly does one read a breadstick? Falken's attempt at pointing out a writing flaw by complaining that a character doesn't use contractions is asinine. I personally know a lot of people that prefer not to speak in contractions, as they feel that it helps them get their point across clearer.

*goes through and rereads the first 10 pages* Well, yeah, there's a lot going on. but you know what? It's not like it's hard to follow or muddied. Every plot development makes sense, and has flow with the overall story. The referenced "You!" isn't egregious at all. Falken is digging for complaints. Granted, he has every right to complain, as this is America and all, But his complaints don't really have the ring of someone giving criticism. More, they simply sound like a hater, trying to bring something good down.

Nothing annoys me more than a comic with such a stale plot and horribly stiff dialogue.

The plot is a pile of shit. Its just another wannabe who thinks they're so horribly original and 'deep' with this fantasty lore shit littered with magic swords and myth. Get over it people, there are hundreds of comcs based on that shit and I have yet to find ONE of them thats any better than 'acceptable'. I read ONE fantasy style comic, and even that still has to prove its worth to me by moving on from backstory. Well done backstory it may be, but its still not happening in the NOW of the comic.

As for the dialogue, it reads like a breadstick. Even when one character says 'no need for formalities' she still follows it up without contracting 'you are'. Come on people! Who the hell talks like that when they're trying to put across comraderie and freindship in a non formal way?

The rest of the dialogue is just as bad and its painfully obvious the author has no idea what the hell a good comic is about. Within the first 10 pages or so there are more new characters and plotlines than there are PAGES! Almost every panel contains some new exclamation of 'OH! YOU! My long lost sister from furry kingdom character design HELL!'

This comic is a pile of shit and is in no way original. As for 'no apparent shortage of ideas or directions' thats entirely the PROBLEM! The comic is trying to do too FAR too much at once and can't do ANY of it WELL.

What´s up with all these negative comments ? Are people really that ignorant ? People complain that nearly the Entire Cast is female, so what´s the deal. People don´t complain if nearly the nearly the entire or even entire cast is male. But the Gender of a Character doesn´t matter as long as the Characters are deep and complex, which is the case here. Let´s take Elektra, who is a ruthless Mercenary at the first glimpse, but actually fights for the Best of her kind and her daughter.
So the females are humanoid Animals, while the males are beasts. Who cares ? In the FAQ it was due to Evolution, and seeing how different the different Sexes of a single Animal can be, it is actually not that unlikely that something like that could happen.
And all those Persons calling it Furry Soft Porn should actually read the story, which doesn´t focus on Sex, but the conflict between Tigers and Dragons, with none of the races being the Villians.
So there is some Lesbian Sexuality between some Characters, but not much of that is seen. And considering the kind of society the charcters are living in, it is actually not surprising.

Oh and one last word: Actually I don´t like Furry, but Draconia Chronicles has an Interesting Story and complex Characters.

Dispite comments focusing on the gender of the characters, this comic has a great story. It shows how no conflict is truly black and white, there are points on either side that make both the tigers and the dragons feel that they are in the right. The new twists from one of the dragons is really starting to make things interesting.
heizusan 1/5
Ok, there's at least one male character - but not many. I take that part back.

But the first five or so comics have none. And some suggestive and just outright blatant sexuality between all the females. Lesbian furry softcore.
heizusan 1/5
wodan46 is 100% correct. Has nobody else noticed that there isn't ONE male character? Pathetic excuse to fulfill the artist/author's sexual fantasies.

this the first comic in a long time to offend me enough to quit within the first dozen strips. Its plotline is a lousy excuse to draw humanoid dragons and lions with breasts. ugh.
Freedom 5/5
Well so far its already been said a few times, it has great art and a story to match that talent. I give it two thumbs up

Very nice comic.
hoshi319 5/5
Imaginative, complex writing and exciting, detailed art--a great combination. This series definitely has many ways to expand in the future, and there looks to be no apparent shortage of ideas or directions.
