Something Like Life...

Synopsis:
The truth sometimes hurts more then we'd care for it to...that's why it's funny. Follow Tom and Joe in their exploits of life that is anything BUT un-ordinary (yes...a double negative equals a positive). This is the comic I do for my local newspaper... they gimme green paper and I give them a comic...it's a nice trade off.

| Complications set in yes, complications. How many times have we heard: 'it's simple'. Nothing is simple. We live in a world where nothing is simple. Each day, just when we think we have a handle on things, suddenly some new element is introduced and everything is complicated once again. "What is the secret? What is the secret to simplicity, to the pure and simple life? Are our appetites, our desires undermining us? Is the cart in front of the horse?" |

Decent art, goofy storyline, decent site. Well rounded comic that may not be everyone's 'cup-o-tea', but it's fun and the storyline seems to actually be going somewhere.
The artist has definately improved from his original strips. |
