Penny and Aggie is a cheap Archie/Facts of Life knock off that really fails at plot and drawing. It uses so much formulatic crap in the characters, like the whole frenemies thing that was around since Facts of Life in the 80s.
Now that they\'re lesbos or bi-sluts, it\'s gotten even worse as T Campbell did a poor job in building the relationship. Now, only if they could stop being a bunch of lezzies, or better yet, stop the comic all together. |

| I pretty much second Desertopa. Usually, any story-driven comic without the word \"kaboom\" every two or three panels makes me feel faint, but this was so engrossing that it dragged me through the entire archives in a week. An excellent piece of work. |

| The fact that I thoroughly enjoy this comic despite it having absolutely no genre elements in common with my usual reading material is a testament to the great writing. Even when the premise seems cliche, the characters are compelling enough to make me really care about what's going on. |

| The drawing style reminded me of Archie comics when I first started reading. I love Penny and Aggie! The characters, while falling into fun clichés, are enjoyable and entertaining. The artwork never slips, and the story is fun to follow. |

| This story is great. It is intelligent and uses a lot euphemisms during the story telling as well as visual jokes. It has a deep physco analysis of the two girls showing there are two sides to every story, and the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The story is absolutely brilliant and i think it defies the stereotypes quite well |

| I love the Lesbian Curiosity the author brings to the story and I love the artwork and the humor. There's a realism in the way the characters are, even a stereotypical base, but it's an attitude that exists today. This is a great comic, overall. |

| A webcomic aimed primarily at girls with no gaming references? Yeah it feels out of place to me too, but it’s an interesting work. It’s premise is a bit tried out (“popular girl” versus “nerdy/artistic girl”) and sometimes it falls into clichés with both characters sometimes playing into their stereotypes for a storyline. Aggie’s father is in particular an annoying character. That aside, Penny and Aggie are both interesting and compelling characters, particularly when bouncing off of each other. The art is also pretty good. Recommended. |
