Synopsis:
Deep Fried follows the adventures of Beepo the Clown, his cat Roadkill, and a cast of oddball supporting characters as they stumble through life, trying to make sense of an ever-changing social and political climate. There's content aplenty at whatisdeepfried.com...in addition to the weekly strip, there is also hilarious flash animation, and regular blog entries.

| This comic moved on beyond Beepo a long time ago. It now features the PG-13 adventures of a grownup Charlie Brown, metamorphosed into a muscular cyborg giant in a grim post-apocalyptic world where he and his killer dog Snoopy maim, slay, and betray to stay alive. The fun comes in recognizing the creepy transformations of all the classic comics characters they encounter-- Orphan Annie, Garfield, Calvin and Hobbes, and so on and on. Funny, witty, disturbingly violent, beautifully drawn. If Kurtzman and Elder were doing comics parodies in the 21st century, they might look like this. |
