Synopsis:
Despondence is an Undertale AU based on a sad, dark story... ----- Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth; HUMANS and MONSTERS. They lived in peace and harmony. One day, a monster shot the human kings head, killing him instantly. The humans declared war against the monsters. And in the end, they had won. They trapped all of monster kind underground. They had little food down in the underground. But one monster had a plan to save everyone... But two years later, things took a sharp turn. Almost everybody has switched to cannibalism in order to survive. The king and queen broke up after their human child had died of disease. The other son ran away after witnessing a violent fight between the two. Over the next few years, the king collected six more SOULs. Only one SOUL was left to get to break out of the underground... yours. Then, years later, you fall into the underground. And now, you get to decide what path to take... (Except, not really, because this is a webcomic and I\'ve already chosen that path for you!) (Don\'t worry, though. We are working on a fangame as well, so there you will be able to chose for yourself.)
