Synopsis:
Strange Little Country is about an exchange student that has to go to a school in the Netherlands for the International Exchange Student Program (het Gion College - Voortgezet Onderwijs). He has to attend school there for the whole year. Because he’s an American, and doesn’t know any Dutch, Lizzie is assigned to him. Lizzie is generally the person that helps him with everything in the school. She’ll translate Dutch into English, will explain all the lessons out to him, will teach him some Dutch, will make sure he’ll adjust to the culture and will make very sure that he’ll have a very, crazy time for the rest of the year.
