Synopsis:
Joey Cheats Death is the story of Joey, who cheats Death. After finding a translated copy of the Necronomicon at a used bookstore, Joey learned of the ancient ways of out witting Death, and not a moment too soon. When Death came to claim Joey’s mortal soul, he challenged Death to a game of riddles. Death was flabbergasted. Having never been challenged, Death was without prepared riddles. Because Death cannot unbind himself from a soul until there is resolution, Death was forced to move in with Joey and become his roommate. Hilarity then ensued.
