Tranquility Base

Synopsis:
Tranquility Base is what would happen if we Brits had won the space race (I know, we weren’t in \"The\" space race) — it’s an organisation that employs some eccentrics with brilliant minds but not necessarily any common sense, far too few highly efficient but under-paid workers who actually keep the place running, and all overseen by a bloated administrative layer that couldn’t organise a… uh… bonfire in an explosives factory.
The comic’s format tends to be one-shot jokes, but there are also occasional multi-episode arcs, such a the Space Police ‘Z-Ships’ adventures. The subject matter is mostly geeky sci-fi (books as well as films), although it also covers pop-culture, literature and anything else that takes my fancy. The comic has transcended being semi-aware of its nature and now there is, in effect, no forth wall in Tranquility Base — which is appropriate considering it’s heavily based on the ‘Classic Space’ LEGO sets which never did have a fourth wall!
Come and meet Captain Slog, Ensign Hudson, Chief Engineer Houston Texas, Major Tom, Bob the Martian, Captain Deckard, Detective Chief Inspector Semaphore, Fluffy the Cat and not forgetting the Random Space Dudes!
