| I don't know what it is, but there's something about this comic that makes me wish you'd update it more than once a decade. |

| laugh out loud funny. Link is stupid but not annoying. Navi is surprisingly likeable, Pit is underappreaciated, Bub is overwhelmingly cute and Zelda is a woman in a man's world... and body. The story plays off the original concepts of the Zelda stories in a hopelessly funny way and branches off into a more complex route. I love it. My first ever sprite comic and i adore it. |

| It's great, well worth staying up late to read through the archives. I loved the effects. |

I randomly clicked this while viewing a large list on this site. I saw it and thought "oh, sprite comic...well, I'll give anything a shot" and I hit the archives.
WOW.
This is not your mother's vacuum cleaner. It is detailed, constantly funny, filled with references to many differentaspects fo NES (and other) games, the obligatory "I AM ERROR" reference, and most of all, it all exudes a kind of quality and depth that I very, very rarely see in sprite comics. It's truly wiity, not relying on "funny if you're played the game" jokes but including enough of them to keep the reader connected. Zelda Comic is going to stick in my head and affect the way I see these sprites when I play their respective games just the way that 8-bit Theater did.
This one's a keeper, sportsfans. |
