Synopsis:
a squid-like alien with a cute-faced suit from a planet where dishonesty is the norm, aquires a space ship and (dishonestly) the use of an engineer. The engineer turns out to be a Bowman Wolf genetic experiment complete with her canine loyalty. Lots of robots with free will and full of interesting sci-fi. |

It doesn't get any better than this. Enjoyable to read, fun characters, great science fiction, good hard science and a lot of serious things to think about.

Brilliant comic! Too bad no info available on the artist... I really would love to see who created, the best five-minute break literature out there.

Freefall is a great Sci-fi comic, and one BEST out there. This one actually had me laughing out loud.

Good world building and interesting characters. A bit slow moving but worth the patience. One of the better webcomics I have found.

I tend to judge webcomic most by how many I read in my first sitting. Usually I only read two or three before giving up, because webcomics are usually that bad, but I read through this archive for hours and hours and only had to stop because I needed to sleep. It will be hard when I get up to date, though, because thre comics a week won't really move fast enough.

A completely wonderful strip. The story is a little slow paced, but it makes up for it with everything else.

This is quite possibly the funniest comic strip ever written and certainly my favorite. It's not just for sci-fi geeks; anyone would enjoy Sam Starfall's criminal incompetency, Helix's lovable dim-wittedness, and Florence's canine quirkiness. Not to mention the cartoonist comes up with the most unusual scenarios: imagine for instance a French restaurant run by NINJAS. O_O

Silly situations, interesting characters, simple, clean yet expressive artwork... that's Freefall. Stories are paced slowly, but it's hard to advance very fast with three three-panel strips per week...

A funny comic with GREAT Hard Sci-Fi and a wonderful take on technology and humor, and a cast-iron update schedule (i.e. I've been reading him for YEARS now, and I've yet to see him miss one). HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended.

Very nice SF comic with some robot-like aliens, some dog-like hybrids, it's mostly very interesting. Art is nice, clear line, not much expressive, though. I reccomend.
