The Phoenix Requiem

Synopsis:
In a cold, industrial-era land, a wounded man stumbles into the quiet and humble town of Esk. Fleeing a past of troubles which he would rather forget, he quickly befriends Anya, a young lady struggling to become a doctor in spite of the disapproval of her family and friends of this distinctly non-traditional path.
When the old and the weak begin dying of an horrific and unnatural plague, and the souls of the dead begin to wander the streets, people begin to pray that the magic-bringing spirits of old - imprisoned by traitors - will finally break free in this time of need.

I cannot look away from Sarah's beautifully rendered environments. I love the story and the character art as well, but the backgrounds-wow. I wish I could pull off something like s consistently and as richly as she does.

Seems like a good start- a little early to be put this high on the list though I think, there's not enough material there yet.
But if it continues the way it has been, it has great potential, and the art is very high quality. |

Sarah creates great stories, and the art is beautiful. I'm really looking forward to seeing this story unfold! |

| Looks like a good start. The drawing's even a tad better than Inverloch I think. |
