| This comic was never funny. Sometimes it manages to be cute. Cute is not funny. I enjoy the original pixel art. The form of his art is very recognizeable. In the end though it is the utter lack of humor that makes me hate this comic, and the man who writes it (The author is a notoriouly anal retentive bastard). 2 stars. |

| Most of the time this comic makes me laugh. I don't mind that the art is very poor. The art has a very distinct and original style that lends itself to the humor. It's not ment to be taken seriously, but it still manages to be funny. I admit though that there are some comics in it that i dont like, and on occasion a joke is overused, but overall this is one of the better comics in existence. |

Unoriginal. And worse yet, not funny. Even if you understand video games, its not funny. Let me cite an example:
The first 2 frames consist of a guy and a girl siting playing video games. In the 3rd, the girl suggests skydiving as a new activity. The last, the guy says "No I dont want to die before the x box 360 comes out."
Where is the punch line? Why is it funny? Because a grown man is afraid of skydiving? <sarcasm>Wow, how clever </sarcasm> Or is it the fact that they made a reference to the X box 360. Ok. Fine. This manvalues the xbox over his own life. What is so intrinsically funny about an X box? I could never imagine myself laughing out loud at this kind of trash. If you do laugh out loud at this, I want you to shoot yourself infront of a preschool class. |

You are all fan boy trash. Bob and george has few actuall jokes and no actuall funny jokes. The story is laughably pathetic. The art is bad to though that isnt part of the problem really. It's just that it throws the same old trash webcomics have been throwing at you for years: Sprites, Bad Jokes, Breaking the 4th wall for no reason. Not that these are bad intrinsicly, just that in the art that we call webcomics, originallity should be an important factor. If one is not original, then it has no contrast with the profane and banal, which is precicely the element that makes most comics funny and others not.
Also Many posts claim that bob and george is the first sprite comic ever created. This is not true. The idea has been thrown around for years before bob and george came around They only personalized it by growing a large fan base of tastless zombies.
I give this a 2. It's fair and nothing more. |
| Comic: Perry Bible Fellowship, The |

Perry bible fellowship is a fine comic of unsurpassable quality. I have read the whole archive. Most are hillarious. Some are only mildy funny, or take a while to get. There are practically none that are truly bad., and thats quite an acheivement. It's a shame that they are so obscure. Otherwise I'm sure this would be towards the top of the list.
The few people who posted negative comments: You are all hideous sacks of lipids. Go read Ctrl Alt Del or some other horrible strip. |
