One of the best.
The art is fantastic to look at excellent use of light and shadows to convey the needed dark tone. But what gets me is how expressionfull the characters are. You can almost tell what Charon is thinking by the look in her eyes.
The story is excellent. It provides things the Mythos has been missing for a very long time; strong female characters you care about and the importance of family and friends.
Come for the Lovecraft enfluenced horror, but stay for the characters. |
