Johnny Saturn illustrates the tale of a hard-bitten mystery man and the crazy meta-human world he lives in. Johnny's gritty world can perhaps be described as "The Dark Knight Returns" or "Sin City" crossed with Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere," with a little bit of Michael Moorcock's "Eternal Champion" thrown in. Of course, any time you mix Greek mythology, angels and demons, battles with addiction, and 19th century Romanticism, you are bound to get some pretty bizarre tales--That's Johnny Saturn for you!
