I did get a bunch of laughs, and the fellow who writes it seems to have some talent (and, this may be because I'm a sap, but one of the stories ends on a more somber note, and I did feel genuine sympathy for the characters).
The strips feel very compressed, though - they need more open space for the balloons and characters to breathe and not trample all over each other. The lack of color gives it a manga feel, but it also feels very sparse. This is one of those cases where color isn't necessary, but wouldn't hurt to have.
I've seen stuff that's a lot worse than this. It's average, and what you see is what you get. If you can accept it for that, you might enjoy it. |

I honestly couldn't look through it for very long.
It's got random, really senseless bathroom humor that makes the characters really unlikable. Art skill is good, but I'm not liking the styles (why did the artists keep changing?)
just...kinda irritated me. Especially the cat girl (I don't know why any guy would put up with someone like that -- especially if he isn't *doing* anything) |

| Just came across it the other day, and I like it. However, I agree with many others who have posted that one update a week and no colouring doesn't exactly show a great deal of commitment. Three stars from me. |

Its not a bad comic and has potential to be good comic, but I could name at least 50 comics that Ive read that are better. |

You could almost fall asleep waiting for an update (several time in fact), but otherwise, it's great.

I don't understand why people are bashing the pacing for the story or a lack of a central story. I think its obvious that there isn't really a central story. The writer is simply going for the short but sweet story arcs that last about 4 or so pages. I kinda like this style, and it suits the comic.
I really like the line art for this comic. As long as the comic is readable and enjoyable, then the art is doing its job. Yes, I would love color too, but it definitely isn't necessary.
To me the comic is mildly humourous at the most, not really laugh at loud funny. But what interests me and will keep me coming back is the great characterization. The comic features characters that you can relate too, and make you care about what happens to them, because the stuff that happens to them and how they handle it are great. The characters will make me come back to see what will happen to them, and that's what I like.
The weekly updates will be annoying, but its definitely not a judge of the quality of the comic or the creator. There's plenty of stuff to do while the between updates, the time will fly by fast.
I give this a 4/5, I can't wait to see how this comic develops. |

| I think it's funny. And trust me, just because they put the comic on the web does not mean they're out to lick your shoes. It's for fun, and it's not fun if you feel you have to hurry. Their own pace, etc. And anywho, I think the art is great. |

| The problem with AA only updating once a week is that there isn't anything to it. Six panels, simplistic art, and no color. Plus there are two guys working on it so its like they're coasting. |

I don't ****ing get why a comic needs to update regulary.
Now that we're past that, remember people, not all "Let's do a webcomic!" comics are dumb. Just look at Real Life Comics. Anime Arcadia, while not the best comic out there, deserves 4 stars. |

Key to success: Slam the word "anime" in front of everything you do (Anime Arcadia, Anime Concepts), hardly update, and have contests with generic questions to drum up voting support.
Cute, but nowhere near as good as its ranking would suggest. Even worse is that its just another variation of the tired "Lets do a webcomic" formula (in this case, "I want a cat-girl"). And it has way more man-ass than a comic written by a dude should have. |

One update a week, just line art very few extras and the story (if there will ever be one) is either very slow or doesnt have a goal.
The art is good -- Its pretty easy to tell that he can draw well but-- one a week and its not colored? With line art that clean it should be simple to color -- and color well, it seems like he's just buying fame and not earning it through work... My opinion- I'm going to keep looking at it for another month or two and then decide if its worth keeping up with. |
