Really loved reading this. It's one that raises a smile. At least it does for me, anyway. I'm afraid I can only review in a subjective fashion, sadly. I subjectively suggest that everyone should read this excellent strip.

A beautiful simplicity in telling of the lives of an imaginative child, her struggling but hopeful single mother, and their friend, an imaginary sheep. Very sweet, dynamic and cool.

Adis - the author - once said she once planned only to have counting sheep jokes. Now, that was defenatly a bad move (though the sheep jokes were funny). This strip does a great job of explaining itself, though I can't wait to see that "secret epologe strip" that I've been voting ten times for. Keep up the good work, Adis, now go to bed!

I'm not sure I like the blue color but otherwise it's really good

It's really relieving to finally have comic that is nor parody, nor violent, nor harsh, yet always funny and adorable. Comparing this to Calvin and Hobbes in the "kid and animal" theme, this is always far better. And as stated on their site, CYS really is more than just cute and funny. There's often a moral, and sometimes a sadder comic as well, a little deeper. Highly recommended to people looking for more than your average comic.

Sweet and funny. Probably too saccharine for your average webcomic reader. Still, one of the best out there. And maybe the only 'gag-a-day' webcomic that could succeed in the newspapers.

I love Calvin and Hobbes as much as the next comic enthusiast, but this comic has something that Calvin and Hobbes doesn't. I'm not exactly sure what, but you'll know it when you read it.
Calvin and Hobbes may have done it first, but Count Your Sheep did it better. |

Why this comic is syndicated yet I will never know.
Cute. Often funny. And sweet HONEST characters.
Read it. Read it NOW. |

This comic conveys a healthy dose of sweet and innocent humor while it is melancholic and touching at the same time. It may not be a comic for the masses, but those whom it does appeal to can't help but love both this comic with its endearing characters and Adis, the artist/writer of CYS.

So sweet it will have you gagging pretty soon. I don't get why so many people like it. Calvin and Hobbes does the "kid and his animal firend" bit about a million times better.

Damn pretty comic. About a girl, her mother and a sheep; It's not clarified whether sheep is imaginary or real. Occationally funny, but always moving. Beautyful blue-toned colouring.
