Synopsis:
Emerald Winter takes place in a fantasy world where something went wrong in the creation process thousands of years ago that allows certain people to tap into the power of dead souls. Obviously, that causes a serious problem for the people living there every so often that has to be balanced out by the actions of living mortals. That's where Rien, a young man who is both a sorcerer and a fighter, ends up when unusual events occur around him leading him into the company of a couple of mysterious women, who in turn lead him into trouble. This comic updates with a new page once a week. Most of the pages are in black and white but recently the comic switched to full-color format. There are about 60 pages (as this is being written) but the story is on the slow-moving side and it is only at the beginning.

| I haven't read all of it yet, but I like the premise. That art has my approval, and I don't even like my own art. Very cool. If you're into that type of comic, it is a must read. If you want Garfield... this may not be for you. My friends and I sure like it though. :) |
