I love just about everything about AMD, including that the characters are sprites. The fact that they are sprites gives it a very interesting feel and it also adds a certain humor to it.
The story itself is great and for awhile kept me wondering what would happen next. It's one of those things where you can't wait to see the next comic. |

| Best comic. It has been the only one to date(besides Starship Destiny) that has gotten me to laugh out loud. |

I find this highly enjoyable to read and really funny. Keep up the good work!

| A superb webcomic. I was introduced to AMD by a friend mid-Dark Vampire Lord Fluffy saga. Suffice to say, I became an addict. Both the main story of A Modest Destiny, and the comic Starship Destiny have entertained me for a year. The D&D humour, the entertaining story and the overall progression of this comic as Mr. Howard keeps updating proves AMD to be one of the best. |

| This comic was never funny. Sometimes it manages to be cute. Cute is not funny. I enjoy the original pixel art. The form of his art is very recognizeable. In the end though it is the utter lack of humor that makes me hate this comic, and the man who writes it (The author is a notoriouly anal retentive bastard). 2 stars. |

This is one of the best webcomics I've ever read. The new storylines shows immense depth and maturity, while jokes are still woven into the plot without degrading serious topics.
This is a great comic. The first seasons were hilarious for their gags, and AMD:WoF is epic. |

| One of the two web comics i'd actually miss if it ended. |

| It's not quite dead. It needs CPR however. |

| Yeah, the humor is tapering off, but it's not dead yet. |

This is another one of those comics that should be remembered for it's first season. The first season of AMD was something special, a wonderful parcel of joy to combat all the crap in the world. The TSD and AMD2 comics and storylines make me want to cry.
AMD:5/5
Everything else: 1/5 |

| normally I can't stand sprite comics, but this is great. It's orginal, it's clever and it has a great story. It's like a breath of fresh air when you compare it to other pixel based comics! |

I suppose this comic might be interesting and funny after a couple of bottles of cough syrup and a sharp blow to the back of the head.

| This is what a webcomic should be: individual and unique characters, a cohesive plot, and original art. |

| Been reading this comic for about six months now, and I thoroughly enjoy it. The story's engaging, the weekend gag strips are funny, and the artwork is wonderful. The comic is on hiatus for the month (Dec.2004) while Squidi revamps and creates the next season, but that just means now's the time to mow through those archives! :D |

| Well, Squidi finally got up after my promised 2 to 4 weeks. I'm a long time reader (Since the original AMD.) and have loved it the whole ride. I very highly recommend reading the comic and visiting the forums. Squidi's set up a great community but we have a lot of Grammar Nazis. Don't come if you can't type in simple English. |

| Very well done comic. Updates are daily, the story is great, and there is plenty of comedy all around. A must read. |
