Synopsis:
Emelind is a changeling. She lived with human parents for sixteen of her seventeen years, without a clue that she wasn't really their child. On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, her faerie parents came to fetch her - and to return the human child they had taken. Seeing as the bonds between the human's and faerie's world have been weakening, there was little time to make the exchange. The slightest of delays could make the crossover impossible... and it did. Emelind was unable to return with her real parents, but was also unable to remain in the human world. So she was trapped in the world in between the two. Having nowhere else to go, Emelind began to seek a way home to the faerie world
