| Oh, for the love of--Barbosa, grow up. As Barb said, she's a single mother with two jobs. You try juggling all that AND a HOBBY like this, and see if you don't get somewhat burned out. Besides, while Talismen was beautiful, it wasn't Barb's story (I don't think). It's easier to immerse yourself and far harder to stop telling a story that belongs to you. I'm sure this comic will have its up times and down times (as do most), but I for one look forward to seeing where she takes it. You don't like it, don't read it, but stop playing junior high politics and trying to lambaste a woman you know nothing about. |

Don't worry Barbie, I don't plan on reading Xylia. I'm just trying help others before they make the same mistake I did by giving you a chance the first time. |

Yup, she quit making Talismen with the sole purpose of burning YOU. Because she hates you personally.
There are only five pages so far, but the art has been superfantabulousiastic! As will the story, no doubt. There are fairies, magic, romance, maybe some swords, assorted poultry jokes, and so much more! |

| Whatever. Did you ever pay a dime to read Talismen? I cranked out 120 pages on that sucker, put in hundreds of hours of work, and didn't clear a dime. I'm a single mom working two jobs. I do comics for my enjoyment and I just didn't enjoy Talismen anymore. FWIW, I certainly would not waste my time working on something for readers as ungrateful as you. You won't read Xylia? Your loss. |
