Synopsis:
After moving away from family and friends to live with her boyfriend, despite their warnings, Gwen found herself abruptly dumped, and quite on her own. Rather than move back home and face ridicule, Gwen decided to eke out an existence on her own. She currently works full-time at a crafts store and is hoping to write a children's book or four. She has a pet dragon named Rremly a balding pet squirrel named Baxtor and a bunch of dust bunny pets. Gwen has also been known to change into her alter-ego Tennibrook a sixish aged version of herself. |

| Good art and some great humor plus good storylines make this comic excellent. |

| This is an excellent webcomic. Light and sweet, it still has an ongoing storyline that's interesting. It's got a lot of goofy elements, and kind of reminds me of some of my high school friendships. The artwork is realistic enough to convey a lot of emotion and events, without being harshly realistic. |

Not a fan of the comic.
But the "Sketch-Days" are always a hoot. |

The art is decent and the humor is also good. But there's room for improvement. I think my problem is that this comic has an overarching storyline that also tries for the strip joke but it does an average job at both. I think the more redeeming qualities can be found in the storyline and if more focus was put on that, the comic would pull together more. Also, all too often, things go into a tangent just because what is happening is cute. I love cute and all but sometimes it's superfluous... Just something to watch out for.
All in all, just keep at it and build up some momentum! |
