There's a reason why newspapers wouldn't take this comic for free. Five letters comprising one word:
Bland.
It's so generic I could cry. Perhaps it wasn't when it was new. However, so many copycats have flooded the market since PvP's inception, doing its shtick so much better, that it's just worth anybody's time. |

A majority of comic fantasy is very, very bad. Happily, that is not the case with Sentimental Horde, a genuinely funny entry into the genre. I would hazard a guess that the authour was influenced by Nodwick, as they seem to share a similar sense of humour.
The art is terrific, a nice change from the dreadful 'manga style' that so many of my fellow westerners immitate so badly. |
