| Gothic mystery with a strong lead, great dialogue and strong, atmospheric art. Agnes is the kind of character you might find difficult to deal with, but feel drawn towards anyway, bitchy or not. The supporting cast are great, too, but haven't been explored enough (yet), though they seem like they wewre designed to stay. On the downside, the comic hasn't been updated since the book came out. Still celebrating? Done? That would be a pity (see above). |

| If I had to describe it with one word, it would be either "elegant" or "charming". Can't decide. It has a wonderful athmosphere that drew me in right away. Annie's great, of course, but I guess my favourite character so far is Mort, the not very frightening ghost. |
