Comic: Xylia
Thank you for the nice comments! Hopefully in the near future, Xylia will be updating twice a week!
Comic: Xylia
Whatever. Did you ever pay a dime to read Talismen? I cranked out 120 pages on that sucker, put in hundreds of hours of work, and didn't clear a dime. I'm a single mom working two jobs. I do comics for my enjoyment and I just didn't enjoy Talismen anymore. FWIW, I certainly would not waste my time working on something for readers as ungrateful as you. You won't read Xylia? Your loss.
Comic: haru-sari 5/5
This is a terrific manga- great story, characters, and art. I love the use of occasional color- it is used more effectively here than in most comics.
Comic: Talismen: Return of the Exile
Thanks for the nice comments and the stars, everyone! ^-^
Return of the Exile will be updating on Mondays only, but be sure to peek in the forum, and the vote incentive for new art. (I will try to update the vote incentive 2-3 times a week.

Thank you again for reading and taking the time to comment!

Comic: Dueling Analogs 2/5
When I did my first review, the comic was a lot less overboard on the pervo-meter. The art and site are still well designed and you deserve props for that, but it consistantly goes for for the disgusting shock humor which gets quickly repetitive, so I can't recomend it like I had before. Not that it matters, there is a large audience for such things.
Comic: Edge the Devilhunter 5/5
This is a seriously amazing comic. The art is superb.

I don't know what happened, there, I apologize!! My browser went haywire. Oh well, fifteen stars to you!

Comic: Antique White House - the Kennedy Tales 5/5
This is a wildly original work, expertly executed. I love the use of traditional mediums to illustrate the story and to illuminate the website, which itself is very well designed. All that aside, how many times are you going to see the Full Monty in an online comic? ;-) (at least tastefully done!)
Great work!

Comic: Valiant 5/5
I am really excited about this storyline. It's just getting started, but what a great hero and interesting setup.

As always, Laura's art is brilliant- excellent characterizations & anatomy, detailed backgrounds and costuming. The color story is lush, and the technique and draftsmanship are outstanding.

This is going to be a fun show!

WOW! Thanks for leaving the comment on my site, so I got a chance to check out your work. This is a beautifully drawn comic. Gorgeous detail, unique characters, and some original techniques with blocking and lettering. The settings must take forever to create!

Havent had a chance to read the whole archive, but what I have seen makes me want to read it all , so I will!

Very original graphic style- I love the color story and the stylizations of the characters. It is downright creepy. Nice website too. All around this is very well done, and I think it will do well.

I have resumed posting new pages on the site, but I will remove all but one panel of each page after they are up for a week or so. If you want to see the story in its complete form you can go here to order copies: http://www.atlantisstudios.net/tali smen/ or you can go to your local comic shop and ask for TALISMEN Return of the Exile!

Thanks for stopping!

Comic: Talismen: Return of the Exile
Thank you to everyone for your comments on the Return to Donnelly comic.

I want to apologize for the confusing posts over the last few weeks- Diana, I appreciate your opinon on this. Since the comic itself has been picked up by a publisher, I am no longer allowed to post new pages. The pieces of art I had been posting were mostly for the folks who kept visiting, just to give them something new to see. Apparently this had an adverse effect on the overall story.

Diana- I have removed everything but the pages, however, even when you had looked at it, the pages were still in order and uninterrupted from page 1 until page 16 of the first issue, so I am not quite sure what your comment about 'only five or six consecutive pages refers to.

This comic will be available in print in September- preorders can be made here- http://www.atlantisstudios.net/tali smen/

Thanks for your interest!

Comic: Talismen: Return of the Exile
This is Barb, the Donnelly creator.

First off, thank you for the nice comments, and the stars! Very nice of you. Sorry about the site quality- I am trying to figure out a better way to deal with that.

I am getting a few comments and emails letting me know that sixteen pages is not enough...really? (I am even being threatened with a whip.)

One person compared this comic to a pusher addicting people to crack, which I... think... was a compliment. (?)

Anyhoo...I AM working on more. I promise. All kinds of freaky junk. Scary castles, blue girls with wings, the uber creepy green guy (not the pseudo green guy that was in the first chapter, but the REAL green guy..huh? you ask...) the Grey Knight might even pop up in the next chapter. And then Ollie and Astrina will have their own issues...

I am trying to find a publisher to print the thing, so that I might even make a bit of money on it. Donnelly is my pet project that I work on when the real world can be shut behind a door.

Thank u for your interest!

Comic: Counter Culture 5/5
This is a lot of fun! And I agree with Gleez- if you have ever had to 'deal' with customers, it is a satisfying read!! NIce art!
