Comic: Paradigm Shift 5/5
A really excellent piece of work. Its greatest barrier to popularity may be the name, which is neither indicative of the contents, nor likely to bring it up as one of the top results on a google search.
Comic: Masters of the Art 5/5
Definitely worth checking out. Not the most consistent humor I\'ve found, but at its best, it\'s hard to match. Also contains what I consider to be the best sight gag in any comic online (the previous title holder, The Tailybones, having vanished from the web.)
Comic: Hero In Training 4/5
The improvement this comic has undergone is incredible. I\'ve been following this one for a while, and while I still wouldn\'t call it one of my favorites, given the growth that the author demonstrates, I think it\'s well worth keeping an eye on.
Comic: Zap! 4/5
It\'s custard soft sci-fi, but the writing is solid and engaging, and the artwork is great. Definitely has its fair share of cliches, but they\'re played with a through understanding of why they became popular in the first place. All in all, definitely worth a look.
Comic: Metanoia 5/5
Absolutely incredible work. I usually don't care for stories of conflict between religious good and evil, but the writing is so good that it pulls me in regardless. The art is fantastic, and the originality is comparable to its more famous cousin, Kagerou
Comic: Thumpculture
The premise sounds totally ridiculous, but the author totally flies with it. A genuinely fun read.
Comic: Dub This 4/5
Despite being way down on the rankings list, and having no picture or synopsis, and no comments before this one, this is actually a pretty good comic. Not the best I've ever read, but it makes me laugh sometimes, and if you're willing to stick it out, it gets a plot that is coherent, and fairly engaging. A bit hackneyed at times, but better than a lot of other stuff out there.
Comic: Demonology 101 5/5
No longer the longest finished webcomic online, but still one of the best. If there were a webcomics hall of fame, this would definitely be in it.
Comic: Flux Destiny
The comic seems like it could be great, fantastic even, but it hardly ever updates. Each pause between comics feels like a permanent hiatus.
Comic: Flaky Pastry
How did I miss this one? Excellent stuff
Comic: Vampire Phantasm 4/5
The author has improved beyond all recognition since her attempt at creating a webcomic. I just wish she would run with what she has now rather than continually second-guessing herself with restarts and alternate continuities.
Comic: Penny And Aggie 5/5
The fact that I thoroughly enjoy this comic despite it having absolutely no genre elements in common with my usual reading material is a testament to the great writing. Even when the premise seems cliche, the characters are compelling enough to make me really care about what's going on.
Comic: Footloose 5/5
One of my new favorites. This one definitely deserves more attention
Comic: Juathuur 5/5
This is probably my favorite comic of all, and I have over 100 comics bookmarked, including most of the really popular ones. Very good art, but it's the writing that really shines.
