| Comic: BadBlood |
| Unfortunately, it appears this comic has been discontinued. |
| Comic: Monica Furious |
| Beautifully drawn machines, sexy female superagent and non-stop action. Hopefully there will be character development in the near future. And the genre should definitely be "Sci-fi", not "Geeky." |
| Comic: Clown Samurai |
| Incredible art style. |
| Comic: Samurai BANZAI! |
| Although very historically accurate, there are too many text and dialogue boxes, at least in the first chapter, for me to get involved with the story. I would suggest to the artist that s/he put some sort of mystery in the very first pages to "hook" readers, and wait several chapters––at least–– before revealing the answer. The artwork is ok, but doesn't show attention to the expressions or physicality of the characters. This is especially a problem for a comic involving swordfights and other battles. |
| Comic: No Need For Bushido |
| An amusing action comic with good artwork, it is humerous and over-the-top melodramatic by turns. |
| Comic: BadBlood |
| BadBlood's artwork is stunning, with a very light narrative touch. You won't find endless dialogue or "the story up to this point" blurbs, just gorgeous, emotional and provacative drawings. |
| Comic: Star Cross'd Destiny |
| This comic has an unusual, heavy-line art style and an intriguing mixture of drawn and photo backgrounds. The backstory sounds a bit kooky, but the plot is gritty. The comic jumps straight into nonstop action and not all of the characters have been filled in yet, but I'm betting it's only a matter of time. It is based on an original (meaning BY THE AUTHOR) novel and thus has a prominent narrative voice. |
| Comic: Fantasy Realms |
| Excellent art, and the story starts out with a bang! |
| Comic: Inverloch |
| The characters and backgrounds look like they come from a high-quality animation like Spirited Away. Great characterizations too, even of minor characters. |
| Comic: Utukki |
| Gorgeous artwork, and interesting connections with Babylonian mythology. |
| Comic: Konsekai: Swordwaltzer |
| Complex self-contained fantasy world, excellent art, great narrative voice. |
