Synopsis:
It is 1956. Betty Jo Carlson and her little brother, Johnny, have discovered an atomic monster roaming the lonely desert canyon outside their small, California town.

Along with their friend, Skip, and the curmudgeonly Professor Willoughby, Jo and Johnny try to keep the monster out of trouble while negotiating the fears and prejudices of Cold War America.

Not as heavy as it sounds.
