What comics do you know of with ridiculously elaborate or "creative" prev/next comic navigation buttons?

This topic popped into my head after happening across The Way of the Metagamer, which uses photos or renderings of many-sided D&D dice as its comic navigation buttons, which I find hilarious in a not necessarily bad way.

I know I've seen even more elaborate or bizarre comic nav button images on other comics in the past, but I can't remember any of them at the moment. So, what other noteworthy comic nav buttons are out there?

Undertow used to have characters holding signs, and it was adorable. But now it doesn't. :C

wow, those dark legacy ones are cool. I personally try to keep things simple on my sites, but now you got me thinking... a little holiday xtreme navigation might be in order

I am also of the keeping it simple mindset and some of those nav buttons just look too... big and take away from the comic a little visually. What I use for mine at http://fantasywrit.com is the quill icon from the comic's logo made into a shiny button.

Now that one I admit managed to work out fairly elebrate buttons that fit into the web design and look like pat of the design.

I do hate it when a comic has the prev/next buttons outside the first/last buttons, though. :p

Light Within Shadow does the characters holding signs thing as well. Pretty adorable. I mean, cool.
