Creepy fan alert! Luckily I haven't gotten that popular yet although I have had an angry feminist though.

I like the art but then I'm a sucker for this kind of combination of dashing and swashbuckling adventure and the art is gradually improving.

One slight improvement, if its night a Victorian copper would most likely have a lamp with him as he goes about his round. Crossdressing ladies however are all well above board no complaints here! Wink

I didn't think it was creepy. It's an opinion. Some folks like Fiona's initial brashness. One comparing it to James Bond's "I'll do and say what I damned well please" attitude. While that's kinda what I was going for, I didn't want her to come off as bitchy but more, as I said, cheshire cat mischevious. Fiona knows the effect she has on other people and has fun with it.

And you ain't seen creepy yet. There's a guy on our DrunkDuck site who constantly declares his love for Fiona. That's kinda creepy. Kinda.

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately with our update schedule (at least until the new year) the story is moving slowly and, as mentioned, it was envisioned as a print book. So it was actually written to be flipped through and not updated at a page a week. So, getting to the meat of the mystery and the adventure is moving kinda at a snails pace. But we're getting there. And I hope you guys are enjoying it. Smile

As for the lamp? Point taken.

As for crossdressing ladies? How's this?

BTW--If you like The Continentals and you use stumbleupon, give it a thumbs up. And thumbs up as many pages as you can. We can use the extra traffic. Smile

Looks like a quality production. And that's quite the hat she's sporting!

It took me a while to find the "Previous" link way down there below the comment box. >_< I blame Prestwick for commenting and thus pushing the UI down further. :P

Thanks. Yeah, finding your way around WCN is much harder then it should be. But there's always the scroll bar and the calendar to help find your way around.

Yeah, the hat is something. In fact, Monique's (artist Monique MacNaughton) nickname for Fiona is "Her Tophattedness". LOL! Smile

There's a new update at The Continentals. Here's the teaser:

"LATE FOR HIS OWN MURDERER!!!"

Lord Ashton discovers that the worst thing about uninvited guests is that they never show up when you don't want them to--Especially when the uninvited guest is a murderer!

Lovely artwork. Occasionally the black and white gave me eye strain, but I love the detail and the dramatic style really suits the story.

It was that blurry tree that gave you eye strain, wasn't it? I'll bet it was. It effected a lot of folks for some reason.

But thanks otherwise. Sorry about the Visine momnet. Smile

There's a new update at The Continentals. Here's the teaser:

"A FOOTSTEP OUT OF PLACE!!!"

A single footstep out of place proves to Lord Ashton that just because he's paranoid doesn't mean a sadistic killer isn't stalking him in the night.
