Is that last piece from a web comic or a printed one?. Only thing that popped into my head was a larger Jessica Rabbit. Maybe like one that had been in a call center her whole life. Apologies to any other phone monkeys out there, but I have seen this disaster myself a number of times. There's just something so sedintary about it. Literally, I saw someone arguing about climate change on TV last night and I almost thought "thank god that's outside, I've got air con". You guys should invent an emoticon for a climate change sceptic like "smiley face wears blindfold with smoke behind it". |

Got my first fan art from smbhax.com. Awesome! I think that it captures the spirit of my webcomic:

And here are some cameos:
We have Imy from "Imy," Eva from "Milo the Cloud" and the Princess from "The Princess and the Giant." _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

I like how you drew her hair! And yeah I don't know many dudes who would be anxious to leave that bar.
EDIT: Aaaa this is the first fan art I've gotten and I can't stop being excited now. 8o _________________ |

One I made for Bucky B of The Life of Mag Flamequill...
...and a second one that she did for me.

It's kinda embarrassing when people's fanart is actually better than the art in the comic, but in my case that's not hard to do. Heh.
I have a fair amount of fanart, and have a page for it on my site, but I thought this deserved a special mention because of the amount of time and effort put into it. A fan painted an actual acrylic canvas painting of one of my characters (and she put it up for sale, and someone who doesn't read my comic bought it, apparently; I don't know the buyer and have never met the artist).
Here is a thumbnail of the painting:
A link to see the whole thing:
Full painting
And here is a link to a YouTube video that the artist made documenting her progress as she was painting it:
Silverpaperplate's YouTube Video
What's interesting is also this character has not been a popular subject for fanart, so I was happy someone painted him.
This was in honor of my webcomic's fifth anniversary. _________________ |
