I've just changed my top-of-the-site ad box from 4 buttons to 1 banner mostly because I got depressed with watching four empty slots on my European region display all the time. This looks better. (And the advertiser in me chimes in: This can make YOUR AD look better, too!)

Since the launch of my new comic, most of my ad slots now appear on both my old AND new one. This includes a tower ad and three buttons (which appear on both), plus a banner (which only appears on my old comic). Hopefully this gives advertisers a little more exposure than before (or at least it will eventually).

Both my PW ads are going cheap right now. My ad up top is going for 3 cents and my skyscraper ad is going for 2 cents. I had almost 2k page views yesterday, and I'll probably get close to that again today.

UPDATED 2-27:

Hey everybody! We've got one banner that needs filling at www.zekeishungry.com . The ad box is between the logo/site navigation and the strip itself.

I should add that we get anywhere from 70-100 page visits on update days (PW seems to think it's a lot less, and I have no idea why), and 50-70 on off days during the week. Weekends are less.

We're a bit of a new comic (we launched in November, and when I say "we" I do mean "we." It's a team effort!), but we have a pretty decent following considering our comic youth - strip 33 goes live in just a few minutes. On days we update we get about 90 site visits, and about 45 on off days. And that's all just through friends/word-of-mouth advertising.

Anyway, I think a couple people just filled the $0 bids, but those will expire soon enough so feel free to bid! No NSFW allowed, but otherwise, it's all fair game.

I just put three button ads into Tris Legomenon. Right under the navigation. Traffic is light (average 160 views/day according to Google Analytics) but, you know, the ads are free right now.

Through some quirk of advertising fate, the leaderboard at the top of my sci-fi comic, Supermassive Black Hole A*, is currently cheaper than the button ads much lower down. Feel free to take advantage. :D

Also, I've just started ads on my fairly new tiny daily (well, M-F) comic, Sketchy:

- leaderboard at the top of the page

- button ads below the comics

In the same spirit as smbhax -- both my ad slots are super-low right now, including zero bids for certain regions. I do get halfway-decent traffic usually so you may want to look at them. Smile
