Chapter 5 has finished!
Chapter 6 is about to begin! Should have an update in a day of two. For now I've got the cover posted....hell I'll just post it up here!
Tried something different this time for fun. Used the previous post for reference. Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks!

Very nicely done, I like the background as much as I like the foreground. _________________ |

Nice work! But it's a little too "clean" for your comic. Grime it up a little! FYI- Your prize is finally in the mail! Sorry for the delay! _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

Yeah you're probably right. It does look neater than the rest of the book. I'll try'n make the next one a little more rough.
Looking forward to the art. _________________ |

Quick question: What medium did you use for that chapter cover? I can't tell if it's digitally altered pastel, paint, or straight-up digital? _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

Completely digital. I've got a set of custom brushes in PS that I use.
Here's a link to an unfiltered version of that cover on DA. It's a little clearer than the comic version as it doesn't have the halftone pattern distorting it.

Since it's digital, you can try this suggestion:
Try Printing out a nice, glossy version of your cover. Then run over it a couple of times with your cars, bury it in mud, then clean it off then scan it. It's a fun technique to get some texture, scratches and grime onto a painting! We used to do stuff like that in art school all the time. Plus, you get random effects that you would never have thought of (which is hard to do with digital -- nothing's quite random). _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

Been awhile since I pimped here.
Chapter 7 is just now gettin' started. It sorta marks the half way point of our story. All the questions I've raised thus far will be explored over the next few chapters. Note: I didn't say answered, at least not completely.
Also, M-Zero is now in color. I've slowly been building to this. I tried to make the transition gradual so as not to upset the visuals too much. I'm excited to see where color takes us.
Here's the latest cover!
Thanks all! _________________ |

Lookin' good! Just for fun, you should try your comic out in Panda Force's color scheme! _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

Yeah I like the color choices, still bleak as hell but with more pizazz. Liked the way the new chapter started, too. _________________ |

Been working on a updated version of the first chapter to Monster Zero. I'm very happy with where the comic is now but looking back there's a lot I would change about the early stuff. Here's a sample of the what I've been up to.
Once I've finished I'll re-post the entire first chapter online. It'll be awhile though. I'm only working on this remastered version when I have the spare time.
Anyway, just wanted to throw this up and tell everyone to check out MONSTER ZERO!
Thanx _________________ |
