I'm always late when it comes these kind of specials. They're almost always a last minute thing that was never scheduled. Here's a Christmas one that's no exception.
It began as an experiment in color. (Yes, I'm considering doing Monster Zero in full color) From there in turned into a holiday special.
Enjoy!

That's a nice sweet Christmas tale. The coloring really does the biz, tho' having said that (and not that you're asking me) I'm not feeling you absolutely must do Monster Zero in color, it stands strong in B/W. _________________ |

Glad you dug the Christmas tale dpat. As for the coloring, I'm not sure how I'm going to approach it yet. I actually like how M-Zero looks in B/W. However, I've been considering making the issues available for purchase online and I thought it might be a nice incentive to have them in color for those interested. I'll probably leave the online incarnation in B/W as I enjoy working in that particular style. It's still up in the air.
Here's a sample of some of the coloring I've done for the first issue.

Nice Christmas episode. Clever story and good art.
As an aside, I like those little forward/back arrows that appear on the sides of the page when you mouse over it. Quite convenient.

Dude! Love the color -- it's gritty, grimey and subdued and works perfectly with your drawing style. It's almost if I could smell your comic (and I mean that as a compliment). _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

Thanx guys! Sry for the late response.
I appreciate the kind words regarding my sloppy lines there Ed. I've been reading Nothing Happened Today since you started posting in these forums. It's one of my favorite reads. Your dry and twisted humor is right up my alley.
As for mehilow, I'm just glad you guys dug the fanart and thanx for pimpin' M-Zero on your site. Very cool! _________________ |

Sweet incentive! Question: how do you shade your comic? You have a pretty cool benday dot effect going on. Is it digital or do you still use transfer films? _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

SWEET TIMELAPSE! I need to try making one of those sometime! In actuality, it would just be a video of me at my computer, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer, trying desperately to come up with an idea. _________________ nothinghappenedtoday.com |

That's my ultra-violence allowance for today exceeded! I like the art and page composition lots. Cool dialogue.
I would've posted a comment on the page but lazily shied away from the "register" requirement, my bad. _________________ |

Thanks dpat57! You've always had a kind word for my nasty little comic. I truly appreciate that man!
As for commenting on the M-Zero site, you don't have to "register" or "log in" to post a comment there. It allows you to just type in a guest name and leave a comment without having any type of account. Perhaps I should put a disclaimer up stating so.
Anyway, thanks for that dpat! _________________ |

Last page of Chapter 4 went up!
http://monsterzero.smackjeeves.com/comics/
Curious what folks have to say about the series so far.
This kinda wraps up the first arc.
Got crazy plans for the future.
Hope folks come see! _________________ |
