For those of you who don't know, I write and draw For the Hermits.
--very short stories illustrated in varying mediums
--humor, observation, self-consciousness, despair...the effect is varying
--a few recurring characters: the common man, a street musician, an old man in his pajamas
--updates every Thursday

i absolutely adore 'for the hermits'. the artwork is beautiful and the stories have a lot of heart. a small slice of life is captured and so much is expressed in so mere paragraph or two. genius.

your comic makes me feel.

John K, yes I do write short stories and the occasional poem. After discovering the ill-fated Okayboy, I realized what was and could be done with comics on the internet. I couldn't give up the flow of the paragraph though. For the Hermits has been my experiment in mixing prose and visual art.
