I redesigned the page of my comic a few weeks back, and now it tells me that the pattern's not matching here, which means it's not checking the site for updates even though I didn't even touch the code. What do I do? I've already reported it broken. |

Ellos! I've just recently re-activated my account here on the forum, but I don't seem to be able to get into my profile or log into the comic listing comment system... any help to be had? _________________ |

There was a bit of a problem a while back, so now only the admins (Oppy and Wendy) can change stuff like profiles, sigs and avatars. PM Wendy if you want to change anything. _________________ "S*P*Q*R" |

The forum's been fairly slow for a long time now, but over the past few weeks I've run into periods of severe slowdown, to the point where trying to load or reply to a thread results in a timeout, or Firefox just giving up and trying to make me download the php file instead of displaying it. :P
We're talking page load times of a minute or two, and in periods where I have no problems loading other sites on the web. I have a fast cable modem connection. _________________ |

Same here, I'm experiencing ridicolously long loading times on a very fast connection. |

And ditto. Clicking on any link or button results in 15-20 second pauses for me. Which isn't life-threatening or anything, but could suggest some kind of grit in the database gears. _________________ |

Or worse. Whenever I tried this weekend, the site was hardly usable at all. Today's good, though. Less than 10 seconds to load a page.
Edit to add after submitting this post: Make that 15. _________________

And what's particularly annoying is that when I do get through a long access time when revisiting the board after 24 hours or so, I find that it has forgotten to keep me logged in, even though I've been making sure to check the "keep me logged in" box. :| _________________ |

I've always had that problem. But, yeah, now it's particularly annoying 'cause it doubles the wait. Followed by another wait when I load the newest posts. _________________

|
|
Is anyone using Freeway Pro? I am using it for my comic site and there should be an easy way to insert the date of last update, but I am not able to figure it out. I have the option of inserting HTML (such as before or after a header), but I have tried inserting many different variations of the date and have not been able to get rid of the "pattern not matching" status.
The profile is: http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/p/18864/Dugans-Air-Force
and the site is: http://www.dugansairforce.com
I have tried inserting the following:
<!-- Last Update: Apr 30, 2011 // -->
<!--Last Update:Apr30,2011//-->
<!-- Last Update: 30/04/2011 -->
<!--LastUpdate:30/04/2011-->
Any thought would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards |

Thanks for the reply and the information - the date is now being picked-up. |

Hello, i'm trying to figure out how to delete my profile since I no longer run the site. I want to either delete it, or modify to match my current site. Help? |

I have mailed Ash and Twittered him a few times to no avail, perhaps you guys can help? Sorry if this has been brought up already!!
For some reason I cannot view who has fave'd my comic, it just takes me a white screen and/or does nothing at all when I click "favourite of..."

Same here. My comic was "Normal" for 2 whole months and is now stuck on "Pattern not matching". However, nothing was changed on my end and the comic is still receiving hits on TWCL's end!
Thanks and again, sorry if these have been mentioned before. |
