Didn't you notice that the new posts aren't shown on forum index? the newest ones shown are from April 30 or older...

Several times it made me exclaim: Oh my gawd, this forum is dead! Nothing new to see, heh? let's go somewhere else.... Rolling Eyes

It's not deleted, when this problem shows up it is impossible to log in, just wait the problem out and once the site is back to normal you'll be able to log in ll proper again.

My profile doesn't show that 67th Avenue was updated on Sunday, September 30.

Wait, what? We still have this thread? Rolling Eyes
Ash has resurfaced from the dead; things will be looked in to soon, solutions will be pondered upon and fixings will potentially take place.

Let's all rejoice and be patient a bit more \o/

Not that this is an emergency or anything, but the list is getting so freaking big that some advanced filters/views might be a good idea. I know y'all are probably too busy just keeping the thing running, but if you ever have a hundred spare hours or so, it would sure be nice.

I find myself dreaming of being able to look at every comic that has been updated in the past month, listed alphabetically, and click on a ticky box to indicate which ones I want to add to my favorites, and which ones I never want to see again, and then update those settings all in one go instead of having to go to each comic's page in turn to turn it off.

Also if there was a bit that could be twiddled and then searched for, that would show which comics are not being updated because they are finished, so I can tell which ones are completed rather than simply abandoned?

And, um, maybe a topic in this forum for site suggestions. (I would have started one myself rather than post here, but I'm not allowed.)

Smile

Hi

Sorry guys things are really really crazy at the moment.

I'm not sure which of these errors we've resolved recently so can anyone experiencing problems email me at: ash@evoluted.net or ash@thewebcomiclist.com.

We'll make sure we sort all the problems!

Thanks! And I hope everyone has an excellent Christmas

Why can't we just update the comic profiles ourselves, without getting moderated and waiting forever for a new link to be approved? Evil or Very Mad

Agreed. It really is a pain in the arse.
But I guess it helps keep out the riff-raff spam-bots.

Hey mods, There's increasing pron spammer activity on this board. It was fine when it was just links, but now they're posting big pictures of hardcore pron

I like to read the forum at work but there just no way I can do that with the possibility of running into a gynaecological close-up every other page.

phpBB have a 'capcha' word verification plugin that'll help kill the bots. Have you considered adding it?
