Hiya both,

good subject, I hope that more people post here. I enjoyed both your strips.. Nice to see that I share my name with a character in Is it finished?, I don't own a Tarantula though. Funky strip Charlotte, clever set up.

My wife and I started Caz (http://cazthecomicstrip.com/) a couple of months ago, she writes and I draw what I'm told. It's about Caz and her family, very loosely based on our own family life.

We post new strips twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday.

Happy to get any feedback.

Hey, good idea to congregate some humor in one thread!

My husband and I started a humor webcomic with references to games, internet, other nerdy/geek stuff. Check it out if you're still looking for something. http://ff-hs.com/

Yep. Found some more things to spend my time with each week on this thread. Nice job.
The Chanterelle and May Life is SUPPOSED to be funny. That's as much as I feel comfortable promising.

I've been writing the webcomic 'School Spirit' since 2004, so if you're interested in Australian kids at primary school while a few friendly ghosts lurk in the cemetery next door, give it a look.

Warning though... It's pushing 1700 strips. Smile

So no, I don't expect you to read the archive in one sitting, if at all. Razz

Unfortunately, it doesn't let me link on my first post (I couldn't find or remember my old login details, so had to make a new profile, unfortunately!) but you might have luck through my profile if you can be bothered working that hard. Smile

I started a humor strip about a year or so ago. I really just started trying to promote it this month. It's pretty corny. I usually just make fun of common expressions.

I'm at 425 strips right now. I publish Monday-Friday.

I like the idea of this thread.

'Serious comics' sounds like an oxymoron to me.

My clever scientist friend and I run our strip as a creative outlet for our odder thoughts.
He does the clever ones about science, robotics and currently space.
I just make silly layman jokes.

Have a look and make a comment. It'd be nice to know someone was reading.

Very Happy

Most of my comics on the Webcomic Factory http://www.thewebcomicfactroy.com are humorous as is the comic I do at Super Frat. http://www.superfrat.com

My comic isn't a comedy, exactly, but it has a fairly affable tone that can dip into humor or drama as necessary.

I try to make sure jokes fit into and complement the story's flow and tone, and most of them come from character interactions where they aren't on the same page about stuff.

The most expressly silly chapter is probably this one, with a planet of chipper cannibal-altruists, right after a fairly serious chapter about fleeing a despot.

My comic is a mixture of shock value, slapstick, anime cliches, Dark humor, and self-referential humor.

Feel free to check it out at doomdojo.com

On page 45, and most people have told me it's funny.

Can't wait to check out some of the other stuff posted here!
