So this is our new webcomic, any thoughts and feedback is welcome.

Joan helps those folk who aren't normal everyday humans deal with everyday human life. The first story is called "Another day at the office" and deals with the baliffs who have come to confiscate goods to sort out the council tax owed by one of Joan's clients, Mr Welkins.

Cover and first page are below, updates weekly.

Cheers

Steve

Pretty hilarious reveal of the dragon. Good composition and work on the last panel, recommend making EVERY PANEL that solid.
Not sure what font you're using but it doesn't really work. Have you tried hand-lettering? Might mesh better with your style.

I'm really liking this so far. I was convinced this guy was a werewolf, but I'm pleasently surprised that I guessed wrong. This guy's a pretty talented puppeteer, lol.

I agree with alexisflower on the font.

Hiya,

thanks for your thoughts and advice. I'm glad that the reveal worked for you both- I guess that you can be a great puppeteer when your a mythological creature with a very long prehensile tail.

Cheers

Hi,

have taken the great advice and handletterd the latest page rather than using an existing font. As ever, love to receive feedback.

WAY better! Makes everything look a lot tighter.
I dig Joan's no-nonsense non-sexualized design, by the way. Her face has actual recognizable features.
