Hi, we are Tori and Kami and this is our webcomic

Secret Agent Men
is a 60s-spy-genre parody webcomic. An approved “spin-off” of
Niels & Gang (see 2nd post for link), SAM focuses on Agents 250 and
300, exploring their missions and misadventures in Section M of the
enigmatic Agency as well as their individual struggles with identity and
self-perception.

The comic updates twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, usually at
12:01am EST.

I have to say I didn't like it at first (story advanced very slowly) but as I kept with it it started to really grow on me. I'll stick with it!

I have to comment on the integration of the realistic looking art with the child-like manga characters (depicting the same character often on the same page). At first I didn't like it and I was wondering what the point was; the artist is clearly capable of drawing the the one style so why pepper in the little cartoons? But then as it went on, I started to find it weirdly compelling. Final conclusion, I find that aspect of the art downright cool. I don't really do manga stuff, is that duel-style a common thing with manga?

Thank you so much! It really means a lot to me that you've decided to stick it out; I knew it was dragging but there was so much groundwork I felt like I had to lay. ^^; After this scene with the Quartermaster, we finally get to the mission, so it should improve in pace a bit.

And I really appreciate the positive comment about the style alternation. As far as I know, it's relatively common in certain styles of manga, but I'll admit I don't read an awful lot of it myself. ^^; Speaking as the writer, I find the more exaggerated expressions to be a bit of a relief - otherwise every page would have serious, realistic face after serious, realistic face. It'd be like Rex Morgan, M.D.

So, in short, thanks! We hope you'll continue to enjoy the comic.

I love the artwork for this comic. If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use? I am trying out different one's other than Photoshop to see if there are any benefits to them. If you use Photoshop, then great, I am on the right path. If not, then I would love to know.
