a lawsuit on patent theft for the concept of the smart phone? How did they even have standing to file such a suit? Nothing in the iPhone is original technology, or even an original concept. The very idea of a phone that is also a mini-computer was developed by Palm and Blackberry long before Apple even entered the game (heck, Palm even had graphical User Interfaces on theirs).

Have Americans actually become so stupid that the late Steve Jobs's showmanship has now replaced actual information in something as serious as a jury trial? This is pretty much the same as if GM had successfully sued KIA because both of them make four-wheeled vehicles driven by internal combustion engines and KIA uses a round steering wheel and a tight-fitting engine compartment which were totally Ransom Olds's idea.

Ummm... They won very narrow design patents. None of the stuff they won on effects actual Android, just Touchwhiz stuff Samsung did.
