It's by one of the creators of ComicPress. It's up to date security wise, it's more up to date, the templates are really nice and it does everything Webcomic does without the bloatiness of CP.

I switched all of my ComicPress sites to Comic Easel. I haven't switched my Webcomic sites though, since they work just fine.

I'm using that theme now. The only problem I have with this theme is that I can't adjust the width of it. If I could do that, than Comic Easel would be perfect.

It's still better than the other Webcomic based WP themes though.

I help out a friend by doing the techie stuff. We started off with ComicPress, but on a whim I downloaded and started playing with Easel today.

It's pretty nice. I think it's learning curve is pretty big though, even coming from ComicPress.

@Justinfh: You can. I made mine 980px. Its in various spots in style.css. #page, body.layout-2cl #page, body.layout-2cr #page, #page_foot.

I got fed up with the editor pretty fast and just ended up pulling style.css and default-style.css into two blank files in Programmers Notepad and edited them there then just copied them back into the wordpress editor.
