I couldn't help but notice that you not only don't mention any support or approval from Marvel Comics or its parent company, Disney. Your webpage doesn't even list proper credit to the copyright/trademark owners (Spiderman stories, movies, and comics are copyrighted; his appearance, name, and all of his costumes are trademarked).

Considering how vehemently Disney protects its trademarks (because it has to, trademarks more easily fall into the public domain through unlicensed use than copyrighted items), do you think this is a wise course of action?

That's funny... I just recently did a comic on Spider-Man... kinda...

hey, thanks for the warning. however, do you think disney would mind? i mean, it's just a topic of drawing contest :/

The Spider-Man Drawing Contest is finished, so it's time to summarize our contenstants' works!
19 awesome Spider-Man artworks was sent in total. Thank y'all for your participation! Too bad there can be only one winner, which is Chris Seguritan with his retro style artwork inspired by the original The Amazing Spider-Man movie from 1977. Congratulations!

To protect its trademarks Disney has sued church-run daycare centers on several occasions. They have to, because of the way that trademark law is written.
